According to reports from TeluguCinema, veteran Telugu film icon Chiranjeevi is currently in discussions with Asian Cinemas to venture into the multiplex industry. The prominent exhibition chain already collaborates with several other Tollywood luminaries, such as Allu Arjun, Mahesh Babu, and Ravi Teja, for various theater properties across Hyderabad. Industry reports indicate that the proposed collaboration aims to construct an exceptionally large cinema screen in the city, with ambitions for it to rank among the biggest movie screens globally. This development would address a notable absence in the local market, as Hyderabad has lacked a dedicated IMAX multiplex since Prasads IMAX transitioned away from the format to function as a large-format venue. The envisioned giant screen is slated to measure approximately 120 feet wide and 69 feet high, potentially introducing a premier large-format viewing experience to local audiences. The prospective entertainment venue is reportedly slated for a location near Gachibowli.
